Situation

Customer onboarding plans were built by hand, emailed as attachments, and impossible to track—no shared tooling, no access control, no partner self-service.

The org needed one secured platform that centralizes internal tools and makes delivery repeatable at scale.

Role

Sole engineer—architecture, frontend, backend, Azure infrastructure, security, CI/CD, and production operations.

What it does

  • Generates customer onboarding plans as secure links or downloadable HTML—seconds, not hours.
  • Live progress tracking for partners; per-customer links expire at 90 days, reusable templates never do.
  • Self-serve partner experience on any device—no login, no attachment, no chasing updates.
  • Role-based access across internal tools—admins see everything, engineers see only what's assigned to them.

How it's secured

  • Signed tokens tied to plan and expiry—cannot be forged, reused, or guessed.
  • Access enforced at UI, routing, and API layers—not security through obscurity.

Results

  • Replaced manual document delivery with shareable links generated in seconds.
  • Recovered a production auth outage and hardened deploy process so it cannot recur—570 automated tests at delivery.
